City of Upper Arlington Music In The Parks It’s summer and Music in the Parks is back!  The free summer concert series is made possible by the support of the Ohio Arts Council, the Cultural Arts Commission and Huffman’s Market. Music in the Parks takes place Thursdays, 7:00-8:30p.m. June through August. This free concert series takes place outdoors on the UA Arts Stage at the Amelita Mirolo Barn at Sunny 95 Park, 4395 Carriage Hill Lane. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and unplug. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved inside the Amelita Mirolo Barn while concerts at community parks will be canceled. Concert patrons can enjoy cool creamy free ice cream treats thanks to Huffman’s Market. Parking Free parking is available in the Sunny 95 Park lot, off Windham Rd. and Carriage Hill. Grandview Heights – Marble Cliff Historical Society Mother’s Day Homes Tour

Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff Historical Society 2013 Tour of Homes Mother’s Day Event May 12, 2013 1-4pm This year’s tour will feature three early Marble Cliff homes. All are Craftsman Style. Two date from 1911 and the third was built in 1917. All retain many original features. Two of the homes were built by members of the Bellows family: uncle, aunt, and cousins of artist George Bellows, a Columbus native. A very special and unusual feature of this year’s tour will be a fourth tour site, the Atrium of Trinity United Methodist Church, where the Society, in partnership with the Columbus Museum of Art, will offer an exhibit and program on the artist. 2013 HOME TOUR SITES ARE: 1430 Cambridge Boulevard – Evans Residence 1449 Arlington Avenue – Leach Residence 2041 West Third Avenue – Voelker Residence 1581 Cambridge Blvd. – Trinity United Methodist Church Visitors will be able to tour the atrium of Trinity United Methodist Church, where the historical society and the Columbus Museum of Art will present an exhibit and program on George Bellows. The cost of the tour is $10. Tickets can be purchased and the tour started at any of the four sites on the day of the event.
